Function: Performs set up, tracking and other functions for residential real estate mortgage loan applications in accordance with S&T Bank and investor guidelines and state and regulatory compliance requirements.
Duties and responsibilities:
Review residential mortgage applications and accurately prepare and provide initial and re-disclosure packages within the required 3 business days from application date or changed circumstance.
Assembles a loan file by uploading the following applicable documents into ImageFlow:
Bank Profile
Bank loan documentation including escrow and TDR/Risk Rating
Two most recent bank asset statements
The credit report
Initial DU findings and joint intent screen
Prints a copy of the work loan application and file checklist for the shadow file.
Completes dates in the processing tracking screen.
Orders verification of employment and/or tax return transcripts upon request.
Performs calls externally to vendors and employers for verbal verification of employment.
Orders appraisals based on the daily monitoring of the mortgage processing email account.
Completes general ledger entries for appraisal and credit report fees.
Completes the daily balancing of the Appraisal Fee Receivable General Ledger account.
Uploads and mails adverse action notice or withdrawn letter per instructions in file and prepares general ledger entries and refund check, if applicable. Enters borrower information on Excel spreadsheet.
Emails or mails home equity loan/ line documents prepared by consumer lending department.
Maintain and enhance good working relationships with S&T employees, demonstrates the ability to work effectively independently; also works as a team player to the success of all department and the organization
Performs additional duties as required including any administrative assistance to support the functions of the Retail Mortgage Department.
Physical Demands
Operates a keypad device: 60% of the day; operates electronic equipment: 20% of the day. The primary parts of the body involved in performing these tasks are the fingers, thumbs, hands. Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for both typing and filing on frequent basis up to 60% of the business day. Must be able to focus visually at a close distance of 18”-20” for a period of up to 40% of the business day.
