Your new responsibilities
Job Summary:

Knowledge on SAP- Material Master & Production Planning, Responsible for understanding the Business requirements for the engineering BOM & Drawing structure, Integrating and developing the SAP variable Configurator for Engineering Bill of Materials, improving Engineering BOM accuracy & quality, training on Configurator, Standardization of Product line between Spain and DFW and simplification of Engineering Designs.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the product line in ENG. & MFG. aspects, BOM & Drawing structures for any improvements to be implemented.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working in accordance with the departmental goals for the development and integration of the SAP Configurator for the Engineering Bill of Materials (BOM's).


• Work closely with Mechanical & Electrical Engineers to analyze and identify BOM structure for the configurator set-up.


• Participate in BOM reviews and provide vital inputs on improvements in the BOM set-up, review, and release processes.


• Perform BOM entry, Drawing creation, or revision as necessary to set up the configurator efficiently.


• Provide regular reports on configurator status and document, guide & train the Engineers on the ongoing configurator set-up.


• Debug issues encountered & provide quick but appropriate solutions for setting the Configurator in an effective way/ per Business requirements.


• Be part of continuous improvement in the structuring of BOM's, Drawings, departmental processes like ECN's, Releases, etc.


• Propose enhancements in the existing features & functionalities of SAP MM & PP modules.


• Standardization of Engineering Designs between Span and Fort Worth and integration of Engineering systems Other assignments based on Organizational needs and requirements.

What we look for
Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering major.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in Engineering /SAP MM & PP.

Language Skills:

• Excellent Command in Verbal and written communications in English
  Knowledge of Spanish is desired

Computer Skills:

• Skills in SAP/ Inventor/ AutoCAD /Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
