QUALITY / CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN needed for contract opportunity with Yoh's client in COLUMBIA, SC.
THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
* Associate or Bachelor degree in engineering and 1 to 2 years' experience required.
* Must have gauge calibration experience.
* Practical application of mechanical gauges for inspection.
* Strong MS Excel skills required.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
* Involved in daily gauge calibration, first article inspection, PPAP as needed and supplier quality problem solving.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
* Associate or Bachelor degree in engineering and 1 to 2 years' experience required.
* Must have gauge calibration experience.
* Practical application of mechanical gauges for inspection.
* Strong MS Excel skills required.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports. Ability to evaluate product integrity and standards.
* Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability. Team player and detail oriented.
* Experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field.
