Overview:
The vEngagement Specialist supports the Ambulatory Telemedicine program at Mercy Virtual by serving as a resource for coworkers and providing personal, professional and compassionate service to patients. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
* Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting (physician office or hospital). Experience with Lawson, Mercy Insight, and Kronos programs preferred, but not required.
* Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* Other:
* Eager to learn a variety of job responsibilities in an agile and fast-paced environment.
* Ability to problem solve a variety of technical and non-technical issues that occur while providing virtual care services.
* Flexible, adaptable and able to juggle multiple projects.
* Ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, prioritization and organization skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.
* Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Ability to work with and preserve confidential information.
* Ability to project a positive and professional image on behalf of Mercy.
* Professional attitude, excellent telephone skills, and calm demeanor under stress.
