NTT DATA Services currently seeks a MongoDB Developer to join our team in Fremont, California (US-CA), United States (US).

NTT Data currently seeks a MongoDB Developer to join its team in Fremont CA.

Project Deliverables:

-To provide business enhancements and foundational core development.

Roles/ Responsibilities:

-Comprehend and translate business requirements into technical specifications and build elegant, efficient, and scalable solutions based on specifications
-Implement appropriate indexes (B-Tree, Geospatial, Text) for performance improvement
-Implement Mongo Management Service for automating a variety of tasks, including backup/recovery and performance management
-Recommend and implement best practices for Rest API integration framework/model
-Develop MongoDB and API prototypes and proofs of concept
-Implement optimal backup and recovery
-Assist developers in detecting performance problems using MMS and Mongo Profiler

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of database design
-3+ years of REST API development
-4+ years of MongoDB experience
-3+ years of experience as a MongoDB Developer for 3 to 6 years.

Preferences:

-Specialized technical knowledge of the MongoDB platform or similar NoSQL technologies.
-Design and development experience building a reusable REST API.
-Ability to mentor and train otheress senior staff
-Experience working in a large enterprise environment
-Ability to identify key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution
-Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
-Knowledge and understanding of information security industry standards and government regulations
-Experience using collaboration tools Jira and/or Confluence
-Experience with Agile development methodologies
-Experience in DevOps environment
-Demonstrated technical engineering background across multiple core technologies (OS, Application, Database, Virtual/Cloud, etc.)
-Proficient with multiple technology environments (OS, Application, Database, Virtual/Cloud, etc.) with the ability to learn and apply new emerging concepts quickly
-Demonstrated ability to work with open source tools and applications
