Technical Program Manager, Network Engineering Deployment
Sunnyvale, CA

Project Overview:
* As a Technical Program Manager at the client, you lead complex, multidisciplinary projects.
* You plan requirements with customers and own projects through the entire project lifecycle.
* This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders.
* Your projects often span multiple locations, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.
Overall Responsibilities:
* You will identify, scope, and manage projects that increase the value of Client's Corporate Network and other networking products & services to our users and customers.
* You will focus on our customer's needs, aligning them to either our standard solutions or owning the end-to-end engineering of new products to the market.
* You will gather a deep understanding of our users and customers, their needs and priorities, and ensure that our network products and services deliver the highest quality and value possible.
* You ensure our processes result in transparency for user and customer requests, including alignment on prioritization, commitment, and delivery.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
* Partner with Network Engineers and Project Managers to deliver large technical networking projects.
* Manage and drive the delivery of network engineering deployment programs by coordinating with global delivery teams across the company to facilitate the delivery of efficient network services to customers.
* Lead cross-functional collaboration between internal client's teams and external vendors to support network services.
* Drive the engineering coordination and execution required to deploy/implement various network products.
* Utilize Project Management tools to ensure PM fundamentals such as scope, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, risks, and updates are kept current.
* Develop reports to track scope, schedule, budget, issues, risks, and overall status. Coordinate with stakeholders to manage, track, and control project issues to ensure timely delivery
Mandatory:
* BA/BS Degree - Yes
* # of years of minimum experience - 5
* Program Management experience
* Any particular programs/tools background - Experience managing large scale network engineering deployment projects.
* Needs to be flexible with working hours
Desired:
* Hands-on experience as a network engineer at a large-scale organization before transitioning into program/project management.
* 5 years of industry experience as a program or engineering program manager.
* PMP, Agile project management certification, or similarIndustry technical certifications (CCNP, CCDP, JNCP).
