Summary
The Corporate & Community Impact Specialist is responsible for supporting the goals of the Philanthropy Department and the needs of the team members/facilities. This position will work with the Director of Corporate & Community Impact to ensure a diverse and sustainable program to support LCI's mission. This position will support plant goals and initiatives by ensuring that sufficient opportunities and materials are available for all LCI team members.

Essential Functions

- Responsible in coordination with the Director of Corporate & Community Impact for an annual operating plan that enhances accomplishment of LCI's philanthropy goals.
- Responsible for overseeing the submission process for all charitable donation requests and team, follow-up questions with team members; in order to have items and information ready for the Committee Meetings.
- Planning and hosting Committee meetings to review donation requests
- Responsible in coordination with LCI's Accounting Team to make sure proper documentation is in place for payments and tracking LCI's charitable giving accordingly.
- Work as a liaison with team members to let them know the status of their donation request.
- Oversight of LCI's Acts of Service account

- Team Member Hour Management
- Working with out of state and out of country divisions on their different needs
- Finding volunteer opportunities and sharing with HR team members
- Supplies and t-shirts
- Schedule Plant Meetings to find out what all of our teammates are interested in, how we can help, set up volunteer opportunities, explain more of the initiative and answer any questions.
- Oversight in coordination with the Director of Corporate & Community Impact for company-wide volunteer events
- Build relationships with key leaders and plant team members by participating at plant picnics and/or family days to spread the word of AOS and provide activities around AOS at the event
- Coordination of newsletters for LCI/Acts of Service and Impact team reporting in order to advance LCI's brand nationally and locally.
- Coordination of calendars as needed
- Carries out other administrative duties for the department
Supervisory Responsibility
This role has no positions reporting to it.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt position, and hours of work and days are typically 8-5.

- Clerical- Operates office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers. Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages. Communicates with management, Team Members, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information and take instructions. Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system. Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails. Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules. Record, compile, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings.
Travel
Some minimal out of state travel to other plant locations as required or requested by client.

Requirements

Preferred Education

- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
- Nonprofit exposure, responsibilities, communication, 3 years' experience
- Experience as an event manager/planner is a plus.
