What you will do 
You will lead all aspects of design & deployment of the Transportation Management System (TMS) implementation and the Transportation CoE for Building Technology & Solutions. Requires strong knowledge of project/program management techniques as well as extensive background in TMS functionality, implementation, configuration and operations. Excellent analytical skills with an ability to apply a balanced understanding of all business elements. Excellent communication skills and leadership skills with cross functional communication skills. Experience developing and driving project prioritization based on a range of parameters. Requires intimate knowledge of business plans, strategies, and technology skills.


This is a remote based role. 

How you Will Do it


  • Oversee and execute all aspects of the program implementation from design and development through to deployment and operationalization in order to achieve key performance metric and savings targets.

  • Develop and maintain prioritization and phasing, in coordination with Product Business Unit (PBU) leaders and Logistics & Distribution (L&D) leaders, for the global Transportation Management System (TMS) roll out across manufacturing and distribution sites in multiple Product Business Units (PBU?s).

  • Serves as conduit between business and IT organization for development of functional specifications / solution through the TMS platform

  • Works closely with the PBU leaders, L&D leaders and other functional management team to align with overall roadmap, develop detailed plan and execute to the planned program gate milestones.

  • Establishes and maintains an effective system of communication and governance throughout the Program Management cycle with the key stakeholders, sponsors and proactively communicates on any variances.

  • Ensure projects are adequately planned to achieve target ROI, project objectives, metrics and deliverables.

  • Coordinate input for monthly executive project reviews, interface with regional stakeholders, and coordinate all aspects of Planning, Scheduling, Organizing, Directing and Controlling of the project for the region.

  • Contribute to the creation of the company wide Transportation CoE to enable optimization and mid/long term transportation capacity planning across multiple Product Business Units (PBU?s).

  • Define and implement new set of KPIs and metrics for the Transportation CoE and individual sites to measure compliance and carrier performance.

  • Works closely with the Transportation CoE to enable enhanced functionality to deliver transportation synergies and savings.

  • Develop value-added approaches to Transportation Management System (TMS) project challenges by employing analysis, innovation and experience.

  • Define and implement process improvements to improve program/project execution and overall quality/customer satisfaction.

  • Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.

  • Plans and schedules project deliverables, goals, and milestones including directing and overseeing any regional project resources and managing conflicts within group and across functions.

  • Lead, coach and develop regional project resources.

What we look for
Required


  • Bachelor?s degree (MBA/related Graduate degree preferred) in an appropriate field of study with 7-10 years related experience in project and program management is required.

  • 4-6 years? experience deploying and operating Transportation Management Systems (TMS) with strong preference towards Oracle Transportation Management platform (OTM) and integrating multiple platforms to enable end-to-end visibility.

  • Demonstrated experience with gap analysis and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
