Title:	Machine Operator II - Injection Mold - SC - Night Shift
Division:	Arthrex Manufacturing Inc (US02)
Location:	Pendleton, SC

This will be a night shift position working at our new manufacturing facility in Pendleton, SC.

Main Objective:

To produce superior products following Arthrex Manufacturing Inc. Molding/Assembly processes and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Understands molding and tooling terminologies.


2. Receives work order and verify that the components are correct.


3. Able to use all the different measuring devices to assure parts are to print.


4. Ability to process production paperwork and QAD system reporting with minimal errors.


5. Able to train other personnel on MO1 responsibilities and molding paperwork taking into consideration all GMP’s and SOP’s of the molding area. 


6. Has the ability, under the supervision of molding technician or process tech, to properly and safely set- up an injection molding machine.


7. Knows how to verify that the proper process is running in the injection molding machine.


8. Follow all safety guidelines of the molding area including utilization of PPE.


9. Assures work area is kept clean and organized.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Proficient with basic measuring equipment and instruments, good mechanical aptitude, proficient with QAD job tracking and Demonstrates housekeeping etiquette.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Understands the basic operations of running an injection molding machine. Understands the safety and use of the molding room tools as in cutters, exacta knifes, swivel blades etc.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements. 

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.  Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.

Physical Demands:

Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Vision Requirements:

Visual acuity necessary to do the job safely and effectively.
