Summary
Creates and exercises test plans. Has general knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within retail and of computer systems.
Essential Functions
› Develops test scripts for product enhancements, break-fix items, and field patches
› Executes developed test scripts against code changes
› Assists in developing estimates for assigned projects and/or tasks
› Ensures the success of assigned projects by managing expectations and controlling perceptions by clearly defining scope, working within the defined scope, and communicating accurate status
› Provides written and oral reports as required
Required Qualifications
› College Degree or 1-2 years of relevant work experience
› Good written and verbal communications skills
› Experience with computer hardware, software, and utilities (especially Windows Operating system environments)
› Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, etc.)
› Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
› Excellent written and verbal communication skills
› Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
› Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and logical problem-solving skills
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
› Point of Sale (POS) experience
