The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

* Experience: Minimum of one year work experience in a public contact job, preferably service related and in a health care environment.

* Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.

* Certifications: Must have completed a Medical Assistant training program and maintain certification as a Medical Assistant, RMA, CMA or CCMA.Must maintain CPR certification.
