What You'll Do
Manager of Medical Staff administers credentialing and reappointment process, while supporting the organizations mission, vision and goals.

The successful candidate will be able to:

* Directs, plans, organizes, and manages the daily activities of the medial staff office and is responsible for preparation, organization, and follow-up involved in maintaining hospital accreditation

* Demonstrates a collaborative approach and ability to influence clinical practice, gain cooperation, and facilitate change with physicians, clinical staff and hospital leaders

* Attends Medical Staff department and committee meetings to record and transcribe meeting minutes in order to perform follow-up as required

* Establishes and maintains continuity in the planning, development, and implementation of standards applicable to the medical staff that relate to credentialing, privileging, bylaws, and rules and regulations

* Attends and participates in all mandatory trainings and meetings

What You'll Bring

* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Administration or related field

* Requires a minimum of three (3) years' experience within a hospital

* Ability to demonstrate a knowledge of the accreditation process, standards, legal requirements and national standards within the health care and credentialing industry

* Be willing and able to maintain professional standards of practice and adhere to Hillcrest's Code of Conduct policies at all times

* Previous credentialing and management experience within a hospital environment

* Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and diplomacy.

* Possess strong communication, interpersonal and customer service

* Ability to demonstrate intermediate knowledge level of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and be willing and able to learn company specific software programs
