DESCRIPTION SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends)

SCHEDULE: Full-time

BLAKE MEDICAL CENTER IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR A LEAD RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST ON A FULL-TIME BASIS. A MINIMUM OF 3-5 YEARS OF RECENT RADIOLOGY TECH EXPERIENCE AND ARRT (R) REQUIRED; ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR LEAD EXPERIENCE A PLUS!

* Assumes responsibility for patient flow and all other patient care issues while ensuring both employee and patient safety.

* Mediates personnel issues in Radiology.

* Establishes and maintains an ethical working relationship and good rapport with fellow employees, other departments, the Medical Staff and vendors.

* Responsible for meeting operational guidelines.

* Must be able to work in a technical capacity, assuming all duties encountered by a staff Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech).

* Ensures that all equipment and supplies utilized during procedures are maintained and in ready condition.

* Responsible for timely and accurate data input into MEDITECH.

* On-call rotation required (30-minutes).

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Graduate of an accredited program in field of practice.

Experience:

Three to five years technical experience with extensive knowledge of equipment, accessories and procedures

Registered with the governing body of field of specialty (ARRT)

Licensed with the State of Florida (CRT)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
