MRI TECH OPPORTUNITY
ARRT (MR) REQUIRED

BLAKE MEDICAL CENTER IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR A FLORIDA-LICENSED MRI TECHNOLOGIST (MRI TECH) ON A FULL-TIME BASIS. ARRT (MR) PLUS BLS REQUIRED. MUST HAVE 3-5 YEARS OF TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE. ROTATING CALL ASSIGNED AS NEEDED.

The MRI Technologist assumes responsibility for patient flow and all other patient care issues while ensuring both employee and patient safety. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ability to work in a technical capacity, assuming all staff MRI Technologist duties.
Establishes and maintains an ethical working relationship and good rapport with fellow employees, other departments, medical staff and vendors.
Responsible for meeting operational guidelines.
Ensures that all equipment and supplies utilized during procedures are maintained and in ready condition.
Inputs MEDITECH data accurately and in a timely fashion.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Graduate of an accredited program in field of practice

* Current State of Florida licensure (CRT)

* ARRT (MR) registry

* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

* Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years technical experience with extensive knowledge of equipment, accessories and procedures

* Customer service abilities, including effective listening skills

* Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
