Job Description:

Independently
manage and oversee ongoing operations between vendors and BSC, including all
complex data interfaces and end-to-end business processes. Identify problems
and develop improvements, modifications, and enhancements
-
Plan
and direct project initiatives from initiation through delivery and monitor for
continuous improvement.
-
Review
externally produced reporting critically and for consistency.
-
Produce
relevant reports on process metrics, performance, and outcomes. Develop
strategies for vendor process improvements aligned with BSC strategic and
operational goals and objectives.
-
Identify
key business issues, develop effective action plans and implement internal and
vendor interventions to achieve outcomes.
-
Communicate
with internal and external stakeholders.
-
Act
as business unit liaison to corporate initiatives and projects. Requires
knowledge of company products, functions, and service standards, policies, and
procedures.
-
Manage
project scope and identify appropriate scope changes and direction.
-
Coordinate
with cross-departmental team members; provide guidance.
-
Provide
input into designing strategies for alignment with business unit goals and
objectives.
-
Extensive
knowledge of health plan operations, such as claims, customer service, and
installation/membership required.
-
Ability
to identify, analyze and resolve problems related to automated systems and
business operations.
-
Ability
to provide subject matter expertise for IT services, review and approve
business requirements, system use cases and support testing and implantation of
new data interfaces.
-
Ability
to build strong relationships across business units and interact with internal
and external senior leaders.
-
Excellent
interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills
required.

Proficiency
in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, project and One note
-
Previous
project management experience required, including a proficiency with the key
components of project management (e.g., scope, time, cost, quality, human
resources, communication, risk, and integration).

6 to 8 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

At least four years of supervisor or management experience in health plan operations, such as claims, customer service, and installation/membership required.

Previous project management experience required.

Generally requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent 6-8 years of experience in Healthcare operations or program management.

-

Knowledge of Medicare and Medi-cal preferred.

- Physical Requirements:
Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
