What You’ll Get to Do!
The AssistantProgram Director of Reunification will manage the reunification operations supporting the ORR (Office of Refugee Resettlement) Reunification Management. The ideal candidate must be extremely well-organized, have great leadership and communication skills, and experienced in managing remote staff members.
Key functions you will perform!
Responsible for the reunification operations of the program
Develop and implement standard operating procedures and training process for the case managers
Ensure contract compliance by following regulatory standards
Responsible for ensuring the quality control, effective reporting and unit assessments
Plan the delivery of the reunification process and its activities in accordance with the mission of the Client;
Responsible for all reporting and identifying areas for program improvement
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a successful reunification process
What you will need to have:
A Master’s Degree in behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields OR
A bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years’ employment experience that demonstrates supervisory and case management experience
Supervisory experience
Experience working as a case manager, preferably with ORR
Experience developing, documenting, and enforcing standard operating procedures
Experience training case managers in accordance with ORR policies and procedures
Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions based on findings and data
Strong interviewing techniques, especially with sponsors
Familiarity with ORR policies and procedures
Experience using and navigating the UAC portal
Familiar with all requirements needed for successful reunifications
Ability to implement and execute quality control strategies
Experience tracking employee work products and deliverables
Experience producing ongoing reports on status of sponsors
Ability to oversee personnel across a range of experience and expertise
Ability to identify areas in need of improvement and improving program performance
Experience in document control, processes, and safeguarding
Experience communicating with sponsors effectively to facilitate successful reunifications
Preferred Skills:
Great organizational and communication skills
Background and knowledge of ORR programs and policies
Experience in Post Release and/or Home Study Services supporting ORR
Local to the San Antonio or Phoenix areas
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Security Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
Must have lived in the US at least three (3) of the past five (5) years
Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance
Favorable credit check
