S3 has a wholly owned subsidiary, KBFS, that provides aviation pilot training, heavy lift, aircraft maintenance, and related aircraft services to Government and commercial requirements IAW multiple FAA certifications.

S3 Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst t o support the U.S. Army Program Executive Office (Aviation) on Redstone Arsenal. AL.

Position Description: The Senior Analyst/PEO Aviation Operations Specialist serves the Program Executive Office - Aviation (PEO AVN) as a principal Action Officer and coordinator for the PEO AVN G-3 Operations office through assistance, coordination and support to the PEO AVN Leadership, APEO's, HQ Staff sections and Project Management Offices (PMO's) that design, develop, field and support advanced aviation and weapon system capabilities for U.S. Army (USA). Specifically, the position:


  • Assists the APEO G-3 Ops in developing and implementing standardized processes, business rules, procedures and policies supporting program acquisition processes
  • Conducts daily coordination across multiple senior USA departments to collect, assemble and deliver Read Ahead packets for senior leadership prior to meetings, briefings, synchronization sessions, quarterly and annual reviews, HQDA briefings, Town Hall, ceremonies, key leader engagements, and VIP visits. Manages the preparation and execution of participation of PEO AVN General Officers at VIP/Special and Key/Town Hall events. Provides GO/SES engagement Executive Summaries to the PEO Executive Officer.
  • Coordinates with multiple senior departments via the ServiceNow (SN) Tasker System to collect, edit and produce the weekly SITREP that reports on the design, testing, and fielding of Army Aviation weapon systems' capability to USA units and other official organizations and events. The SITREP is incorporated into a higher level SITREP submitted to the Secretary of the Army.
  • Coordinates with other PMO's via the SN Tasker System to collect, edit and produce the PEO AVN Bi-Weekly SIGACT's that provides status of Army Aviation weapon systems and associated ground support equipment.
  • Serves as the Subject Matter Expert on the Global Electronic Approval Routing System (GEARS) information management system. Manages the routing and staffing of documents for senior staff review and approval via GEARS. Trains and assists staff with the input, routing and final approval of documents via GEARS. Resolves packet issues within the GEARS system. Archives completed GEARS and other critical PEO reports and documents.
  • Submits Help Tickets to NETCOM as required for issues that are unresolvable at PEO AVN level. Conducts bi-weekly cross-walk of the PEO's calendar to the PEO AVN Master Calendar. Collects, assembles and submits monthly CDRLs.
  • May serve as Lead or Supervisor for other contract personnel.

  • Other duties as assigned .

Experience/Skills Required : Experience in one of the following specialty areas - logistics, weapon system fielding, program acquisition/ planning, data/ configuration management, information systems/technologies.

Education Required : A Bachelor's Degree in management, business or technical disciplines from an accredited school. In lieu of stated degree, must have at least seventeen (17) years' experience related to the SOW specialty area.

Security Clearance Required: Secret Clearance.
