ELS is hiring for the position of Compliance Inspector in Ellenton, Florida.

What you'll do:

As a Compliance Inspector you perform various property inspections utilizing a tablet. You work as a team participant along with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards set by ELS.

Your job will include:

• Utilize clear communication and professionalism when dealing with residents and coworkers.
  
  


• Conduct daily inspections of resident homes (exterior) in a designated, systematic section of the community.
  
  


• The Residential home inspection form will be utilized to track the progress of home inspections on a daily basis.
  
  


• Attend morning staff meetings to communicate daily vendor appointments and required work.
  
  


• Communicate regularly and professionally with other maintenance workers, management and staff and work closely with them on all special maintenance projects.
  
  


• Compliance will provide the completed resident home inspection forms to a designated admin for follow up and written notices will be sent.
  
  


• Report maintenance concerns directly to management and perform repairs.
  
  


• Complete home sale pre-inspections to ensure homes being sold meet the community standards.
  
  


• Complete follow up inspections to verify issues have been resolved.
  
  


• Diligently report any and all safety concerns for residents or employees to management.
  
  


• Follow all safety policies and complete all annual trainings as they are assigned.
  
  


• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  
  

Skills & experience you need:

• High school diploma or the equivalent experience.
  
  


• 1-3 years of positive work history dealing with customer service
  
  


• Ability to use a tablet, smart phone and email
  
  


• Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
  
  


• Willing to be on call for emergencies that arise after hours .
