Machine Operator - $23 / hr at FactoryFix in Itasca, Illinois

Job Description:

A company in Itasca, IL is looking for a Machine Operator for a 3rd shift opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Check parts for dimensions and proper finish against prints


• Run multiple machines at the same time as required


• Setup and operate the machinery, load raw materials and unload finished parts


• Document and input Production Data Entry (PDE)


• Responsible for machine cleaning and zone housekeeping procedures for the assigned work area


• Maximize machine utilization by adhering to standards of operation


• Inspect incoming sheets for quality, correct size, board grade and caliper


• Serve as a leader to Assistant Machine Operators by guiding them in the set-up, start-up, operation, and shut down tasks of the machine


• Support and adhere to required, documented and defined procedures and work instructions including, but not limited to: food safety programs, OSHA regulations and PPE as designated

• High School or GED Diploma


• Capable of lifting 50 pounds


• Willing and able to work overtime and as required


• Flexo Folder Gluer (ffg) experience is preferred


• Basic mechanical skills


• Basic proof-reading and math skills

• Blueprint Reading


• Production Setups


• Mechanical Troubleshooting
