Act as an integral member of the Global Labs leadership core team to drive operational excellence of the Global Labs division. Act as primary liaison with internal and external clients for all toxicology and chemical risk and hazard assessment services. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to department leadership team to ensure that work deliverables meet quality and timeliness expectations, and outstanding performance issues are addressed in a timely fashion. Accountabilities
Establish and execute the department-level vision and corresponding annual operational and financial goals in collaboration with Global Labs VP
Act as a vital member of the Global Labs division leadership team to set and execute on the strategic vision and corresponding goals for the division on an on-going basis
Establish and monitor departmental revenue and expense budgets
Support business growth initiatives through active participation in strategic marketing and business development efforts, proposal preparation and technical discussions with existing and potential clients
Ensure a level and balanced workflow and that all technical deliverables meet quality and timeliness expectations
Ensure peer review, staff training, SOP development/maintenance and continuous improvement activities are effectively coordinated and successfully completed
Manage selection, training, performance and development of a competent workforce
Represent NSF during client meetings, and in interactions with academic, industry and regulatory community members
Actively participate in joint committee meetings and/or industry forums as needed
Perform other role-appropriate duties as requested

Experience with risk and hazard assessment methodologies used by federal agencies, the private sector, and by international organizations
Experience in conducting and/or evaluating toxicology studies and other technical documentation
Excellent time management, organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Aptitude to problem solve and resolve conflict
Job Experience
7-10 years relevant work experience in toxicology or closely related field and at least 3 years of personnel supervision experience
Previous experience managing a P&L preferred
Education and Certifications
Master's degree in toxicology or closely related field and relevant work experience; Doctoral degree in toxicology or closely related field preferred.
