The position of Acquisition Program Liaison requires supporting the Compass Call program at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. The position will support weapon system acquisition of aircraft systems and training devices and support testing of weapon systems at various DoD test ranges. The position will report to and support the Lead Big Safari Liaison at Davis-Monthan AFB, as well as the Program Office at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The position may also be required to support the Weapon System Test Director.
Duties include:
Serve as a subject matter expert on electronic attack and assist weapon system operators as required.
Supporting system requirements, technical and management meetings
Supporting test planning and test conduct of current and new systems
Defining training requirements for weapon system training devices and support equipment
Supporting technical evaluations of aircraft and training systems proposals
Assist in defining Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) requirements for training devices
Support and advise the program office on operational EA and training issues
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in an technical aviation-related field (Engineering, Aeronautics, etc)
Experience and proficiency in one or more applicable areas, e.g., Electronic Attack, SIGINT or ELINT,
Hands-on experience with mission planning systems.
Strong interpersonal, team building and communication/presentation skills.
An active DOD Secret security clearance
EXPERIENCE
At least 8 years of Electronic Attack operational experience, Compass Call experience preferred.
At least 8 years of systems engineering and/or test and integration at national test ranges with emphasis on communication and radar systems.
An understanding of antenna parameters and performance
Experience with DoD flight test and evaluation and/or interacting with test ranges
Experience with training systems, experience as an instructor/evaluator preferred
At least 3 years' experience in leading operational EA crews and/or Integrated Product Teams composed of government and support contractor personnel.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
