In this role you ll collaborate with the Sales teams to consult on complex sales opportunities and develop solutions to resolve our customer s issues.

You ll have an opportunity to become a part of a team of Markem-Imaje Product experts and support the North American Business on Pre-Sales and Project Execution activities.

You should possess Bachelor s Degree in an Engineering Discipline from a four-year college or university or an Associate s Degree from a two year college or technical School with +10 years design and engineering experience and a strong project management acumen.

2.Lead the development, planning and execution of large projects and applications.
3.Develop and provide solutions to unique, complex or recurrent technical problems.
4.The Sr. Applications Engineer will fill the role of product expert in M-I s laser coding and Mark & Read products, as well as other technologies as defined by the needs of the business. This produce expert will be expected to effectively present, train, install and lead projects and generally represent the M-I product to assist in maximizing sales growth and delivering successful projects.
5.Through the participation in global product expert teams (known as Galaxy teams), the Sr. App Eng will aid in developing, implementing and participating in training courses to increase the level of product knowledge of the North American (NAM) technical and sales organizations on an ongoing basis; as well as continually developing personal knowledge and skills.
6.Under the direction of the Americas Applications Engineering Manager, the individual will support the efforts of Strategic Account Managers, NAM field Account Managers and NAM technical staff by providing Project Delivery Services, Pre-Sales Technical Assessment Services and Project Leadership services.
7.Duties technical guidance to Field Service Representatives, Technical Field Specialists and Pre-Sales Engineers for urgent technical issues.
8.As a product experts, App Eng s are expected to support new product launches and introductions, including participation in the development, testing, training and knowledge building for new products.
9.Act as mentors to less experienced Applications Engineers and other NAM Service Delivery personnel through knowledge sharing, one-on-one coaching and formal product training.
10.Assist the Applications Engineering Manager in defining and implementing new processes and procedures, as well as development and execution of the departmental initiatives to align with M-I s NAM and global strategies.
11.Take the role of Technical Lead and Project Manager for large multi-site programs involving Strategic Accounts and as requested for the delivery of customized and/or complex solutions.
12.Act as primary point of contact for the customer and be responsible for meeting project deadlines, scope of work and budget constraints for assigned projects.
