The Role
HOURS: Able to work a flexible starting schedule and/or overtime on Saturdays
* Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (Pick, Pack, Wrap, Label, Load, and Ship)
* Read work order or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
* Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
* Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, bales, or other containers
* May be able to drive a forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks
* Complete daily forklift checklist
* Operate all forklifts in a safe and effecient manner following prescribed work methods
* Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
* Maintain accurate bin locations and inventory counts
* Report any discrepancies
* Willingness to learn multiple stations within the department
* Maintain the cleanliness of workstation and assist with entire department housekeeping
* Perform other duties as assigned
What we expect of you*
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
* Experience in a warehouse environment required
* Experience in operating warehouse equpiment such as cherry picker, reach truck, dock stocker, turrent truck, and sit down preferred.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, twist, walk, stand for extended periods of time, and reach frequently
* Excellent attention to detail
* Can-do attitude with commitment to reaching targets and goals
* Interact effectively with others in a team environment
* Good communication skills both written and verbal
* Excellent attendance
* Safe work habits
