POSITION SUMMARY:

Incumbent serves as first point of contact for patients in the clinic. Enters patient data to the registration system and verifies insurance and/or third party coverage. Handles inbound and outbound calls to patients to effectively schedule, confirm, modify or cancel appointments as a result of operational changes or patient request. Performs general clerical and reception duties.

COMPENSATION RANGE:

$20.46 - $22.59

REQUIRED:

Ability to effectively read, write and speak English Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to make simple calculations and perform simple math Demonstrated experience using a computer, including data entry and retrieval Demonstrated experience using multi-line telephone system Demonstrated experience using office equipment such as a printer, copier, fax, scanner Minimum 6 months experience working in a customer service position plus 6 months in a call center setting/clinical setting with high call volume; OR 12 months experience working in a call center Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

PREFERRED:
