Plantation General Hospital, a 264-bed acute care hospital, has served Plantation and Central Broward County since 1966. JOB DESCRIPTION:
Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures using Ultrasound for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to produce the ultrasound and sends images to PACS. Assists in the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

* ARDMS Certification

* ARDMS - ABD and/or OB-GYN or ARRT (S), RT (VS), RVT, RCVT or RVS

* Basic Life Support Issued by the American Heart Association

* Graduate of an Accredited program in Ultrasonography

* Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

* Must have RDCS for ECHO
