NORTHSIDE HOSPITAL IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR A FLORIDA-LICENSED INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY (IR) TECHNOLOGIST ON A PRN/PER DIEM/AS-NEEDED BASIS IN OUR INTERVENTIONAL NEURORADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT. CALL IS ASSIGNED AS NEEDED. ARRT AND BLS REQUIRED. FLEXIBLE AVAILABILITY TO COVER VARIED SHIFTS IS NECESSARY FOR CONSIDERATION. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS RECENT NEURO/INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY EXPERIENCE.
The Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist demonstrates competency in all diagnostic, standard and neurological interventional radiology procedures; demonstrates effective communication skills as an active member of the Special Procedures team; and follows established standards and practices under the direction of the radiologist, invasive cardiologist and/or vascular surgeon. The Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist will participate in the on-call schedule as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
* ARRT certification
* Current Florida state licensure (CRT)
* Associate Degree / 2-year Radiologic Technology program completion
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* Minimum of 18 months experience in Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology
* Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
* Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling
* Lifting and/or carrying patients/objects/equipment (exert up to 75 lbs force and/or lift/carry up to 25 lbs frequently)
