We're seeking a positive, energetic, results oriented Receiving Clerk with a passion for and experience with working in a distribution center. Located at our Miami, FL facility:

Key Responsibilities

• Superior level of receiving knowledge to include research of items, quantities, and locations using computer software and physical/visual verification
• Clearly marks variances and communicates results to appropriate staff
• Performs work assignments efficiently and as directed with exactness, neatness, and in conformance with all TVH policies and procedures
• Must be able to interact effectively and productively with co-workers while maintaining composure
• Fully expected to participate in put-away, following all appropriate procedures and work instructions

Other duties may be assigned to include:

• Must be able to follow all order filler procedures
• Follows all established TVH safety policies
• Ability and willingness to assist in fostering and supporting a team-based environment, to include performing other duties as needed
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to Manager
• Actively participates in DC meetings, providing feedback for continuous process improvement
• Supports recommendations from management and assists management as needed
• Performs tasks as needed to maintain the overall cleanliness of the DC, to include row maintenance
• Keeps a clean and safe work area
• Other job duties may be assigned at management discretion

Preferred Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, qualified candidates will possess a High School Diploma, GED, or a minimum of two years' experience performing substantially similar essential functions for a material handling opportunity.

Other requirements include:

• Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform basic math to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs with occasional lifting of 50 lbs
• Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, and collaborate effectively with others to achieve goals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Prior experience and commitment to meeting attendance requirements
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check
