Our team needs a talented, experienced self-starter to manage across all our NGINX GTM efforts—identifying and executing on ways to improve team productivity throughout.   This is a highly visible role that works in close partnership with NGINX Product Marketing leads to ensure we deliver against our strategic priorities.  It also requires skillful collaboration with leaders across Global Marketing and Customer Experience, Product Management, Sales, Partner/Channel organizations, Global Services, and other Product teams to drive the operating model for consistent and repeatable delivery of launch and sustain plans.

Representative Job Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Further establish and optimize our go-to-market approach to maximize GTM efficiency and effectiveness

    • Build and maintain GTM plans, inclusive of the Bills of Material and workback schedules

    • Understand and maintain a cross-functional stakeholder system of record

    • Ensure successful execution of those plans

    • Create and maintain GTM tools and templates

    • Define and maintain the NGINX GTM rhythm of business

    • Increase clarity of the roles and responsibilities of GTM team members and promote mutual accountability

    • Track GTM scorecard key metrics

    • Conduct launch post-mortems to fuel continuous improvement

    • Participate in GTM excellence building activities across F5



  • Drive communication across full GTM team

    • Maintain relevant SharePoint sites and Teams channels

    • Ensure required actions and prioritization are understood up, down, and across levels and parts of the business

    • Develop and distribute regularly scheduled status reports that include issues, risks, mitigation, and resolution

    • Assist in the development of quarterly business review materials and additional ad hoc executive decks



  • Manage cross-team marketing activities that are PMM-led (e.g., research, webcast series, budget management)

  • Help develop product marketing content as needed
     

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


  • Demonstrated success managing multi-faceted projects from start to finish

  • Adept at managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously, while keeping things simple

  • Ability to manage open deliverables, issues, gaps, risks—driving to completion and resolution

  • Must have the personal skills necessary to lead, collaborate, and motivate

  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and analytic skills

  • Executive maturity and presence

  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment with minimal supervision

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Computer Science or equivalent

  • 5+ years relevant work experience

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite

  • Experience in agile, start-up environments in addition to large software companies a plus

  • Understanding of modern apps and DevOps a plus

  • Product marketing or consulting experience a plus
