Job Description:

SUMMARY

The Lead Players Club Representative is primarily responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of employees assigned to guest services in order to provide a pleasant atmosphere and help ensure quality service to guests at the Cherokee Casino. Ensure promotions are executed properly among various departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:


  • Direct and supervise the work of the Players Club Representatives.
  • Participates in the selection of approved staff, training and appraisal of subordinates, recommendation of associated personnel actions, definition of individual and group responsibilities, determination of priorities and deadlines, evaluation of the quality and effectiveness.
  • Advises department managers of promotions and coordinates activities of departments for promotions.
  • Conducts periodic staff meetings.
  • Replace promotional literature around casino.
  • Receive and respond to emails from guests and vendors daily.
  • Assist with special promotions, drawings, hot seats, and tournaments.
  • Assist guests on gaming floor.
  • Greet guest as they enter and exit the Casino.
  • Explain promotions to guest and answer any questions they may have.
  • Ensure paperwork is done accurately and sent to compliance.
  • Make public announcements of special events and promotions.
  • Maintain stock of promotional items.
  • Answer phones professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

Provides direct supervision for Players Club Representatives.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

The position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Strong decision-making ability when involving guest service.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing guest service.
  • Developing working relationships with others.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license by the appropriate gaming authority.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
