MAINTENANCE MECHANIC - PLANT OPERATIONS
CORPUS CHRISTI MEDICAL CENTER is a 631- bed Health Care System including Bay Area, Doctors Regional, The Heart Hospital, Northwest Regional, Bayview Behavioral Hospital, Northshore Emergency Center, Northwest Behavioral Health Center and Radiation Oncology at Corpus Christi Cancer Center.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:
* Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC equipment, control systems and refrigeration systems.
* Plan, coordinate, and provide hands on skills for minor alterations and construction not requiring city or state permits.
* Perform or manage comprehensive ground repairs.
* Perform testing and operation of Emergency Power system (Generator testing)
* Perform testing of fire pump.
* Assist Plant Director with Fire alarm/sprinkler testing schedules and repairs.
QUALIFICATIONS
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 3 years previous experience in healthcare maintenance setting or 5 years in a commercial building, highly preferred.
* Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, building automation systems, and excellent customer service skills.
