The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for various cybersecurity (CS) tasks, such as: improving security posture by applying knowledge of design and policy to discover network and device vulnerabilities; use Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans in accordance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) publications to analyze network and system vulnerabilities; provide timely, accurate, and efficient CS services to support program objectives and milestone requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as ACAS system administrator
- Demonstrates ability to work independently and demonstrated experience processing packages through the Navy's Risk Management Framework Process
- Experience in assessing systems using NIST 800-53 and/or DISA STIGS and SRGs
- Demonstrated efficiency and experience in RMF package development, including POA&Ms (mitigation statements), Security Plans, Risk Assessments, system/site policies, procedures, and processes, architecture diagrams, and hardware/software inventories.
- Demonstrates experience developing tiered/inheritable policies in eMASS
- Demonstrated experience with eMASS and VRAM
- Demonstrates excellent customer service and organization skills
- DoD 8570 baseline certification
- Is a quick learner, self-driven, problem solver, good communicator, good at researching items (even when given limited information)
- Have an understanding of the Nessus scan tool.
- Familiar with both the system and software lifecycles
Experience/Education Required BA or BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject matter; or a minimum 3-5 years of Cybersecurity Analyst experience.
Clearance Required: Current active 'SECRET' Security clearance
