The Mobility function is a global department managing employee mobility programs for all Lines of Business and in over 50 countries. The global team is located in the following locations:

US - Jersey City, NJ, Columbus, OH and Plano TX (new location)

Regional hubs in London, Warsaw, Singapore and Buenos Aires

Operations/Administration - Mumbai

As part of the Infrastructure team within the Global Mobility department, Expatriate payroll is currently responsible for the delivery of a multi-currency payroll for all program employees (~ 2,000 employees)

As a member of the team, key responsibilities include:


  • Coordinating with operations team in Mumbai on building the monthly payroll
  • Reconcile all new/exiting expatriates to coordinate payroll
  • Assist in reconciling all pay elements related to expatriate payroll e.g. home country benefits, medical premiums, housing allowance, etc.
  • Proactive in working with payroll teams worldwide to ensure local regulatory requirements and accurate delivery of pay.
  • Develop the systems/queries for process efficiencies.
  • Timely respond to critical issues on international payroll items from internal Regional Assignment Managers, HR business partners, expat admin/accounting teams, business managers and employees (collectively, our clients) .
  • Properly work through all monthly tasks with associated controls to complete a monthly file for payroll delivery.
  • Assist the Infrastructure Manager with the annual Incentive Compensation for current expats to ensure appropriate payroll, tax and delivery which entail managing the IC plan type, testing, communication and distribution.
  • Assist the Accounting Department with reconciling all related general ledger accounts.

Qualifications

  • College / University degree, preferred
  • Four or more years experience in expatriate payroll services
  • Some experience with mobility technology platforms, preferably with Assignment Pro (but not required)
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues timely
  • Suggest alternative efficient approaches
  • Excellent interpersonal, written/ verbal communication skills with all levels of management
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and has ability to work well under pressure and meet all strict deadlines in both testing and production environments while remaining proactive and flexible.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft applications
