Job Description:

This position delivers reporting and analytical insights to operational business managers, risk executives, and internal stakeholders. A qualified candidate must bring demonstrated technical reporting expertise using SQL, excellent collaboration and communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn core business processes while leveraging their technical skills to develop business intelligence and operational reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver target state reporting and analytics that gives insight on business operational performance and risk. This includes enhancing existing reports and designing new reporting on high-profile regulatory business processes.
• Contribute to strategic projects to continuously improve business performance. Regularly partner with a broad base of executives, line managers, and internal stakeholders on requests to gather diverse data and summarize in meaningful ways for making business decisions.
• Apply new technologies and methods to streamline and automate reporting and data management processes.
• Drive best practices for data handling, data quality control, and change management of production reports and dashboards.
• Work with internal customers to ensure a high quality user experience and adoption of new reporting methods.

Minimum education and experience required:

• BS/BA/Advanced degree in Business, Management, Finance, Economics, Data Science or a related field.
• 3 or more years of experience in reporting or data visualization related to risk or operations in financial services.

Skills required:

• Demonstrated proficiency with SQL scripting (preferably in Hadoop environment) and developing automated reporting.
• Experience supporting business operations.
• Attention to detail a must with focus on quality control.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Ability to condense information into clear and tangible insights in executive-ready presentations.
• Strong initiative and enthusiasm for problem solving and data automation.
• Strong project management discipline to balance priorities with cross-functional teams and deliver on strategic initiatives.
• Additional experiences preferred with Alteryx and Qlik Sense.
