Job Summary: The Dispatch & Planning Manager role is to oversee CGLT operations to ensure safe, cost-effective, profitable, and timely shipments while promoting consistent companywide compliance with DOT codes and regulations as applicable to Rinchem/CGLT operations.

Primary Responsibilities: This is not meant to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities; other assignments will be made as needed
* TMS Super User * Plan, organize, or manage CGLT staff to ensure that work is accomplished in a manner consistent with CGLT requirements
* Oversee billing auditing to ensure accuracy to our internal and external customers
* Facilitate OTR Company and IC driver payroll
* CGLT driver and office staff credit card reconciliation
* OTR IC driver recruiting
* Assist Recruiting in Company Driver Recruiting duties as needed
* Safety Stand Down Coordinating
* Oversee new driver onboarding
* Lead the Driver Ambassador Program
* Manage Day to Day Driver and Driver Supervisor duties to ensure safety and financial expectations are met
* Manage Day to Day Planning duties to ensure safety and financial expectations are met
* Internal and External Customer interaction
* Manage Spot Quotes, contracted rates, and Sales/Transportation relationship
* Assures all staff stays compliant in training and other areas as needed
* Manage CAPA reporting system for CSC 80 to maintain completion in a timely manner
* Maintains a solid relationship with customers in collaboration with Rinchem Business Development Team as Transportation SME. Ensures all expectations are being met or exceed, looks for additional opportunities to create new business solutions
* Support CGLT General Manger on all CSC budgeting requirements as needed to maintain financial expectations
* Work with CGLT Asset Group to maintain equipment and regulatory expectations
* Works in conjunction with administrate service centers including Human Resources, Accounting, Training, Quality, ESH, IT and Sales to fulfill requirements and meet organizational objectives throughout the company
* Ensures safety, quality, and other team meetings occur, and serves in committee memberships as needed
* Internal and external customer communication
* Update SOP s and Work Instructions
* Back up to dispatch supervisor as needed
* Back up to Planning Group as needed
* Back up to Administrative Assistant as needed
* Performs general administrative work for the CSC that includes, but not limited to the following: settlement documents handling, order driver supplies, transflo, imaging, mail duties
* Maintains backup [or 2-in-a-box] for all positions that fall under responsibility
* Develops people to their highest potential through necessary training and excellent performance management(hiring, performance appraisals, MMF s positive feedback, discipline, and termination)
* Maintains operation quality standards to ensure transportation is in compliance with corporate goals/policies, showcase standards, and compliant with pertinent regulations
* Owns value stream to meet customer demands and expectations regardless of functional and department boundaries; leads the creation of current and future state plans and implements the pan to get from current to future state
* All other duties as assigned by Director - Transportation Operations
