As part of the Global Messaging and Portfolio marketing team supporting Cognizant Digital Systems and Technology, the Portfolio Marketing Manager is responsible for how our Quality Engineering and Assurance offerings and services are presented and perceived in the market.  The entails researching and understanding client needs and the market landscape, developing compelling narratives and value propositions, and working closely with the QE&A practice to align what we offer to the identified needs to drive the right business outcomes.

Profile

We are seeking an intuitive Portfolio Marketing Manager to support the global brand awareness, market development, and sales assets across our Quality Engineering and Assurance portfolio. Applications are the foundation of the modern business and in today’s fast paced always on environment, quality of those applications is critical. The right candidate will be able to use internal insights as well as 3rd party research and data to articulate how our offerings help customers navigate the modernization journey and enable them to be positioned for the future.


 
Responsibilities include:

        Acquire deep understanding of the current sales environment, client challenges and sales environment and create crisp messaging and positioning to elevate Cognizant’s market awareness for our QE&A offerings

        Engagement with business unit and practice leaders to gain understanding of the QE&A offering portfolio, the outcomes customers will experience and how they support our global campaign strategies and goals

        Deliver unique and compelling point of view (POV), strategic messaging and leadership proof points improving the BUs' market position, competitive advantage, differentiation and business results.

        Collaborate with marketing peers to build a content plan to produce relevant assets for target buyers, including thought leadership, case studies, video, blogs, and sales enablement materials for all stages of the buyers and marketing journey

        Lead the positioning of our offerings and services to analysts (AR) and journalists (PR)

        Collaborate with the extended marketing team on demand generation campaigns and market launches for solutions to achieve business goals

        Review marketing results on a regular basis to learn, iterate and optimize the marketing strategy and messaging.

        Be a market facing SME and evangelist for the solutions through social media amplification


Required professional experience:

Proven expertise in developing compelling B2B content that translates highly technical and complex issues into easy-to-digest, differentiated, compelling messages that reflect an organizations point of view; and tightly aligns with the company’s corporate messaging and positioning.

        5-7 years experience with application development and testing methodologies and processes

        Experience with Cloud Native applications and development cycles

        Experience with B2B marketing preferred. Consulting and IT Services experience is a plus.

        Ability to understand customer and market needs, then translate these into solution and GTM requirements.

        Exceptional written, communication and organizational skills

        Enthusiastic, collaborative, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

        Strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability

        Adaptable and able to work in a constantly changing environment, and understanding of big company dynamics, have worked in matrixed environments and know how to get things done

        Confidence collaborating and interfacing with senior leadership

        Self-starter as this will be a remote work position


 

Required Education:

 

        Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, Science, Marketing, Computer Sciences, Finance or equivalent experience; Master's degree or MBA a plus

        An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree
