Overview:

This position provides the necessary administrative leadership, planning, direction, and management control for the Hospital campus, including ancillary services as assigned. This position will provide administrative leadership for other support service departments such as HTM, HIM, Patient Access, Food Services, Environmental Services, FMO, EOC and any other duties as assigned by Mercy. The purpose of this position is to ensure effective management of the functions supporting an exceptional Operations for Mercy Hospital. Scope of responsibility includes the Hospital campus within the Mercy Hospital Community.

Collaborates with and interacts routinely with the Hospital Leadership Team, Regulatory and Environmental Compliance Leaders, and other departments as required at the hospital entity. Interacts with regulatory agencies such as The Joint Commission, State Department of Health, and local Authorities Having Jurisdiction.

Qualifications:

* Required Education: College degree in applicable field.

* Preferred Experience: 5 years leadership experience and developing innovative strategies that support Hospital Operations. Prefer exceptional knowledge of State, TJC, and CMS regulations. Must have strong project management skills and be proficient with Microsoft Word and prefer Excel knowledge.

* Certifications: Training and Certification applicable to required field.
