Equifax is looking for an event marketing manager with experience in planning both meetings and customer hospitality events. This role reports to the Senior Director, Corporate Events. The ideal candidate must be able to plan and execute an event from conception through execution including creation and management of a budget, timeline, management of outside vendors, regular communication with key stakeholders, attendee management, development of collateral and environmental branding elements and execute the plan on site.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the hospitality industry, or meeting/event planning experience in a corporate environment.

What You’ll Do


  • Project manage all elements related to the planning and execution of a specific event to ensure team hits key milestones and event stays on time and on budget - attendees/rooming lists, tickets, transportation, F&B and overall event agenda, etc. 


  • Research, secure, onboard and manage vendors for all elements related to a specific event including meeting space, event tickets, transportation, F&B, entertainment, sleeping rooms, etc.


  • Collaborate with Sales and Executive Admins  to manage ticket allocation and distribution for all sports sponsorship events. 


  • Manage other non-ticket sports sponsorship programs including employee and discounts and special events for staff and or customers. 


  • Coordinate the meeting content process with the core planning team to ensure content and presenters are aligned to each other,  the overall program goals and company/business strategy.  


  • Develop event websites promoting logistical information and/or online registration via Cvent


  • Coordinate the execution of the marketing efforts for each event, emails, ads, invitations, etc. including working with the Creative Services team to develop themes and graphics


  • Ideation and management of production process of attendee gifts and giveaways  


  • Craft and distribute communications to attendees pre and post meeting


  • Manage strategy, creation, coordination, organization and distribution of conference materials (name badges, tent cards, signs, packets, and other materials)


  • Onsite management of all event elements


  • Develop program budget and secure necessary approvals. Track actual spend for  meetings and events vs. budget and report post event ROI as appropriate.


Qualifications


  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experiences


  • Bachelor’s degree


  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders.
