PRIMARY PURPOSE:

 

Under minimal direction, this position leads the development of scalable processes and programs to empower the marketing team to drive results. Manages the various systems in the marketing stack, including operations, integrations, documentation, and optimization. Highly cross functional role requiring both strategic and tactical execution, strong program management, and the ability to build and lead a team. A growth driver, someone who not only supports the needs of the team, but a person who thrives on identifying and chasing opportunities to accelerate the business with an emphasis on mission-driven engagement, standardization, efficiency and support of a new omnichannel environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations.  Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.
Assures quality customer service to all customers.
Hires, supervises, mentors, trains, develops, and evaluates performance of assigned staff. Identifies and effectively resolves employee issues.
Acts as the guardian of the marketing database - improves data quality, hygiene, and standardization.
Builds out and maintains marketing operations best practices to enable comprehensive program, channel and campaign management and analysis.
Owns the evolution and integrity of the marketing tech stack.
Mentors team members on marketing operations processes.
Removes manual processes and steps to make the team work efficiently.
Documents the structure of systems and segmentation and communicates with all key stakeholders.
Develops and manages a contact strategy change management process to document and communicate all segmentation and/or process changes.
Presents analysis and findings to a variety of audiences.
Remains abreast of changes and developments in the blood banking industry related to regulations and standards and provides direction to implement required changes. Establishes and maintains a network of professional relationships.

REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge/ Education


Bachelor's degree required. 
Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that affect business operations required.


Licenses/ Certifications


None


Experience


Eight years of related experience required. To include:
Three years marketing management experience.
Experience overseeing marketing operations.
Experience developing and maintaining processes for complex marketing organizations.

Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities. 
Must be able to maintain confidentiality. 
Exceptional problem-solving skills and an ability to work closely with marketing strategy and technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical, statistical, and personal organization skills.
Able to organize, prioritize, and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities.
Effective oral and written business communication skills.
