Job Description:

Your role:  Non-profit Tele-Sales Representative

Your purpose:

The Non-profit Tele-Sales Representative provides both direct fund-raising and development support activities to sustain and enhance the institutional mission. Be responsible for securing major gifts in support of institutional priorities, from individuals, foundations, and corporations.

Your responsibilities:


  • Make 40-50 outbound calls to past, present and new donors

  • Qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward current and prospective major donors

  • Coordinate with other employees/departments within the Company for any processes as needed.

  • Develop and propose strategies for solicitation of major gifts

  • Recommending specific purpose and level of gift

  • Identifying those to be involved in cultivation and subsequent solicitation

  • Assuring that solicitations are carried out

  • Contribute to overall fundraising objectives

  • Develop and implement a stewardship program aimed at cultivating deeper ties with major donors as well as with volunteers and other key supporters

  • Communicate fundraising goals and progress with external and internal audiences

Your experience and skills:


  • Inside sales experience

  • Prefers experience calling on donors for nonprofit fundraising, although not necessary

  • Highly motivated and money motivated
