Job Description:

A metal fabrication and automotive company in New Castle, IN is looking for a Maintenance Electrician for a 3rd shift opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain all electrical systems of the plant


• Exhibit superior safety practices while performing repairs


• Performs mid to expert level break-fix preventative maintenance on electrical and control systems.


• Independently performs maintenance which may include PLC troubleshooting, re-wiring, power distribution issues, etc.


• Troubleshoots and analyzes control systems and electrical systems to resolve software/hardware and other problems.


• Contribute to the continuous improvement roadmap for the plant.

• Technical School training or accredited apprenticeship or equivalent.


• Fully versed in 480v, 240v, 277v, 208v, 120v, and 24v power


• Formal electrical training or demonstrated on-the-job experience in the electrical field.


• 5 years of electrical maintenance experience.


• Knowledge of all electrical codes related to installations, hydraulics and pneumatics.


• Experience with panel building, machine rewiring, and modification to electrical systems.


• Proficient in reading electrical schematics.
