This is a full time (36 hours per week) Pediatric SpeechTherapist position with Mercy Child Development. Home department will be at our Mid Rivers clinic, but will work at our Olive and Mason location 3 days a week. Hours to include M-Th with after school availability and half days on Fridays. Schedule is subject to change based on census and staffing needs. Thank you!

Overview:
The Pediatric SpeechTherapist provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs in order to achieve maximum potential. Displays treatment skills practicing within the scope of Missouri Practice Act and in compliance with all rules and regulations with National Board and governing bodies in the State of Missouri. Promotes growth and development of department by assisting in
special projects and/or coordinating activities in patient care programs. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree in Communication Disorders required.
Licensure: Missouri State Board of Healing Arts license required, or eligibility for same.
Experience: One to two years experience.
Certification/Registration: Certificate of Clinical Competency (American Speech and Hearing Association) or eligibility for the same.
Current CPR thru the American Heart Association.
Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
Preferred experience: Minimum of 1 year pediatric experience. Prefer variety of experience across areas of articulation, language, fluency, etc. Required experience with children with diagnosis of Autism.
