Accelerates profitable growth through analytics and formalizes commercial planning cycles (sales and operational: supply and demand) to improve communication, alignment and empower the organization to act.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS                                                                                        


  • Identifies capability gaps and helps the company achieve its aspiration related to the sales and operation processes.

  • Develops strategies and processes to help build a bridge to close the gap between current state and future state.

  • Leads and coaches the team through aspects of change management.

  • Designs and leads the execution of management systems and capabilities to support bridge building as it relates to sales and operation planning (e.g. Forecasting, IBP, contract and order management etc.).

  • Leads project teams and stakeholders, ensuring continuous alignment and traction as they understand and fulfill the sales and operating planning cycle needs and requirements.

  • Leads the design and development of business intelligence tools to generate insights and provide recommendations for optimizing choices that align with GID roadmap.

  • Optimizes SAP and IBP to create visible tools that allow the team to manage contracts, orders, and forecast against projected supply.

  • Drives implementation, accountability metrics, continuous coaching of contract/order/forecasting processes.

  • Partners across the GID & BDG organization and leads team to develop, deploy and execute tools, technology, content and processes to drive performance and optimize execution.

  • Builds, maintains and integrates detailed market and competitive intelligence for the division.

  • Integrates all business intelligence to develop insights and solutions to grow and execute strategic plan.

  • Partners with global supply team and demand planning to improve supply and demand forecasting process and optimize use of IBP.

  • Communicates findings and insights to stakeholders and provide recommendations for optimizing business performance.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS                                                                     


  • Bachelor's Degree in quantitative or analytical field including business, economics, management or statistics.

  • 8 years experience in commercial analytics, business research and intelligence including data warehousing and CRM tools, techniques and technology.

  • Knowledge and experience in sales force operations, metrics and productivity drivers.

  • Demonstrable professional experience in a commercial environment.

  • Excellent business acumen, strategic planning, analytical, communication, project management, and change management skills.

  • Proven experience building and implementing business strategies that result in revenue and/or share gain.

  • Prior experience managing programs or projects with proven success.

  • Skilled in accuracy and paying attention to detail.

  • Verbal and written English language skills appropriate for management level communication.            

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES


  • Project Management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Solid knowledge and direct experience using business planning & reporting tools (SAP, IBP, etc.).

  • Superior Excel (macros, pivots, lookups, sum if, complex link files) & PowerPoint design tools and presentation/chart applications skills

  • Experience using Salesforce.com (or other similar CRM tool) to establish reporting and extract insights that will enable sales managers and marketing to make actionable decisions.

  • Presentation skills, including ability to succinctly summarize key findings and effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

  • Ability to relate to the business and its stakeholders to grow business acumen.

  • Logical and organized with the ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines both working autonomously and within a team.

  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple conflicting requirements.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently at all levels of the organization, create interdepartmental links based on different projects with a respective level of integrity.
