The hours for this position are 9pm - 6am.  This is a temp to perm position, located in Taunton, MA

Summary:

Responsible for the offloading and general cleaning of each delivery truck as it is returned to the warehouse from its scheduled route. This includes separating any returned products and completing the required paperwork.  Additionally will be responsible to stage products and to load trucks.  Must have prior forklift experience, at least 1 year, loading and unloading trucks, stand up forklift preferred.

The hours for this position are 9pm - 6am, temp to perm position

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for offloading/stripping and sweeping out delivery trucks each night


• Responsible for unloading returned product to specified area and filling out internal quarantine Form


• Pick, prepare and stage product as required based on orders scheduled for delivery trucks


• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they are accurate based on the order


• Review product to ensure proper labels and paperwork have been applied before shipping


• Identify backorders and complete load variance documentation


• Accurately pick and label merchandise from primary pick locations


• Identify damaged merchandise to be “tagged out” from production


• Assist in production of all good sold within the warehouse


• Performs other tasks and duties as assigned


• Available for OT as required

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred


• 1-2 years prior warehouse experience preferred


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety policies and practices


• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills


• Must be able to read, write, and speak English


• Able to work in a team environment


• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment


• Must understand Unit of Measure and basic math


• Must obtain Hazmat license, forklift operating license and hoisting license within 90 days of employment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift a very high volume of cases of product per day from 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly


• Able to lift 50 lbs frequently, up to 120lbs occasionally


• Able to bend, stand, walk, sit, push, pull


• Able to stand on feet for most of shift


• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer including keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment

Supervisory Responsibility 
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
