Echocardiograph Tech Cert

* POSITION SUMMARY

* Performs in-patient and out-patient echocardiography testing. Assists physician with performing stress echo and trans esophageal testing. Maintains equipment in good working order, selects appropriate settings

* MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

* High School Graduate, graduate of approved school for cardiopulmonary technology.

* Up to 24 months of clinical ECHO testing experience desired, in house training will be considered,

* Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer by the American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography required.

* Field currently proposing minimum of an Associate Degree in Science.
