Cognizant is looking for Principal Data Architect to join our Artificial Intelligence and Analytics practice (AIA). As a trusted advisor, responsible for providing an approach for the overall project. As a domain specialist, you will drive technology discussions and analyze the existing gaps in addressing business needs. Location and Travel: Columbus, IN – (Remote work Possible)    

 
Responsibilities:

• Stay up to date on latest technologies in the market and recommend what is applicable to customer


• Provide thought leadership and present new and upcoming case studies, technologies to customer leadership


• Initiate discussion with stake holders on transformation wherever its possible in existing projects & new initiatives


• Participate in technical interviews/workshops and support entire data management & governance program across stake holders


• Analyze current architecture and related documentation to understand & assess functionality required for effective data governance & management


• Support in key data identification, data flows and perform overall Gap Analysis between business needs, challenges and current state capabilities


• Draft recommendations with respect to right fit tools & technologies for effective data governance & management

 
Qualifications:

• Experienced with Transformation Roadmap definition & implementation


• Well versed with Cloud, CICD and Big data Architecture


• Well versed with IoT, Analytics, Data Science architecture


• Well versed on Cost of operation in the Cloud and aspects to consider for cloud migration


• Well versed with Reporting architecture considering all scenarios like Operational Reporting, Scheduled Report, User report, Self Service BI


• Well Versed with Ingestion frameworks, ETL vs ELT and when to use what


• Well versed with Data Virtualization Architecture and Data As A service implementation


• Experience in Data modernization is preferred
