Location: San Antonio, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Washington, DC; Ashburn, VA

Duration: Contingent upon award

Travel: up to 50%

Shift: Standard business hours

What You’ll Get to Do!

The Fingerprinting Operations Assistant Director will manage the facilitation of fingerprinting process supporting under the ORR (Office of Refugee Resettlement) Reunification Management program and will be responsible for managing the network of fingerprint contractors, process assessment and ensure the fingerprinting procedures are efficient for the program.

Key functions you will perform!

  • Responsible for ensuring proper and efficient fingerprinting procedures are in place as part of the reunification process

  • Lead the implementation, management and oversight and standard operating procedures and ensure it is within compliance of ORR standards

  • Collaborate with fingerprint contractors nationwide regarding scheduling and appointment processes

  • Immediately inform PROVIDENCI Management and program stakeholders of any potential issues or noncompliance within the fingerprinting services

What you will need to have:


  • Experience managing contracts that require fingerprinting processes is required

  • Large scale experience in managing fingerprinting contracts

  • Experience managing personnel across various regions

  • Ability to build and manage a network of contractors dispersed throughout the country

  • Experience in the fingerprinting process for applicants who are undergoing FBI checks


  • Experience implementing and executing contingency plans as it pertains to fingerprinting such a

  • Experience working with ORR security representatives to coordinate fingerprinting services

  • Understanding of the ORR fingerprinting process

  • Experience in livescan and completing manual ink and roll fingerprint cards

  • Experience in government contracting

  • Experience creating and implementing standard operating procedures as it pertains to the fingerprint process

  • Proven ability to think creatively to troubleshoot problems related to the fingerprinting process

Preferred Skills:


  • Great organizational and communication skills

  • Experience as a facility security officer

  • Experience working on ORR programs

  • Background and knowledge of ORR programs and policies and experience executing said policies

  • Local to the San Antonio or Phoenix areas

Clearance:

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Security Requirements:


  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Must have lived in the US at least three (3) of the past five (5) years


  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance

  • Favorable credit check
