Activities Assistant Responsibilities include:

• Assists in planning, scheduling and leading activities, exercises, special events and games for residents of an independent and assisted living care facility.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.


• 1 year of Activity or Recreation Services experience preferred.


• Ability to bend, push, pull or lift 20 lbs. as necessary to perform various activities with the residents.


• Willing to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.


• Working knowledge of basic computer applications preferred.


• Interact with residents, families, staff and other visitors in a pleasant, respectful and courteous manner.


• Acts as a positive representative of our community at all times.


• Helps to develop programming based on the resident preferences.
