Dietary Assistant Responsibilities include:

• Serving food and beverages to residents of an independent and assisted living facility.


• Ensures tables are ready for guests before and after meals. 


• Assists with taking resident meal orders as they are seated in the dining room. 


• Assists in preparation of meal items according to menu. 


• Assists with delivering beverages to residents. 


• Bus table and washes dishes using the full hands in, full hands out method. 


• Cleans equipment, kitchen and dining area as assigned. 


• Loads and unloads the dishwasher. 


• Follows specific scheduled job duties as assigned. 


• Attends in-service education as assigned and applies information to job tasks.
