We are looking for an experienced Marketing Operations Analyst who would excel in implementing and owning a 21st-century digital marketing and lead attribution system.

The ideal candidate will have the desire to understand both the overarching goals and concepts of automation as well as the nuances of complex marketing automation. This role requires the ability to maintain and provide the technology, tools, and systems needed to support business operations.

A day in the life


  • Deploy, optimize, and own marketing tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, BigCommerce, Google Analytics, Facebook ads, etc.


  • Strong knowledge of best practices for email creativity, segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies, deliverability, etc


  • Drive solutions with the systems & tools, business management, and sales/marketing enablement; Ownership of the entire technology stack used by the marketing and marketing teams (SFDC, BigCommerce, NetSuite, WP, Tableau, Airflow, Snowflake) and ensure utilization, compliance, and accuracy of these systems (e.g., reporting, account-level information, etc.)


  • Create, optimize, and automate key processes, identify continuous data integrity improvement, and fully own data strategy for the customer journey.


  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing for multiple complex and cross-functional projects


  • Commitment to rigor and execution and the ability to hold yourself accountable for deliverables


  • Good at building strong, effective working partnerships

  • Assesses in requirement gathering, technical assessments


  • Identify technical and operational gaps and opportunities for enhancement of existing processes and for automation


  • Hands-on experience in producing effective automated marketing solutions in SalesForce Marketing Cloud (plan, build, test, edit, and deploy)


  • Design, develop, maintain, and scale our Marketing systems and services.


  • Advocate best practices (unit/automation testing, code reviews, code quality, etc.)

What youll need

Experience


  • Prior experience implementing full-cycle projects in SF Marketing Cloud


  • Several years of experience using enterprise-level modern marketing digital platforms


  • Experience building solutions on the SFMC platform: Cloud Pages, Smart Forms, Web Collect, Collect Tracking, Email Studio, Social Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Automation studio.


  • Know/use multiple delivery systems Pardot, Campaign Monitor, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, MailChimp and related tools Journeys, Drip strategies, Litmus, etc


  • Experience in evaluating and advising on the selection, implementation, updating, and management of new automation software


  • Understand how to integrate and maintain the integrity of key systems CRM, an email service provider (ESP), website, blog, analytics, product database to ensure seamlessly, consistent data flow within and between systems


  • Demonstrated ability to use (or learn) AMPscript and basic SQL queries


  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and/or Computer Programming or a skilled programmer with a technical degree and accustom to technical problem solving


  • Proven experience deploying emails through email marketing platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) or similar enterprise-level ESP/marketing automation tools: Adobe Campaign, Responsys, StrongView and/or Silverpop


  • Strong knowledge of web platforms and CMS systems, CRM systems, SEO and SEM, organic and paid marketing, content marketing, social media and analytics tools, and Google Webmaster Tools


  • Proven experience implementing complex technical projects


  • Proven technical knowledge of marketing, marketing platforms and point system solutions, demand generation, and lead management
