Job Description:

The Civil Division of KPFF Los Angeles is actively hiring for the position of Survey Crew Chief. Applications should include resume and cover letter.

Responsibilities:

Under limited supervision, organizes, manages and directs field survey crew in completing boundary, topographic, ALTA, right of way, construction staking, and subdivision projects for public and private clients. Applicant calculates and records field data and leads survey crew on complex survey engagements. Applicant proficiently performs training, data collection, and quality checks for survey field work.

Applicant shall demonstrate the knowledge and application of fundamental concepts, practices,and procedures of surveying and possess knowledge of related fields and areas of operation which affect, or are affected by own area of expertise. Applicant shall demonstrate strong communication and organization skills. Associate's Degree preferred.
